WHO ARE WE
We are the Vanguard Economics Foundation, launched in April 2024, leveraging 10 years of expertise from Vanguard Economics to empower Rwanda’s youth, fostering sustainable growth and creating inclusive opportunities for active participation in the country’s development.

OUR CURRENT INITIATIVE
Youth Social Entrepreneurship Programme
This program is designed to support youth entrepreneurs running micro-to-small businesses in Rwanda, aligning with the country’s National Strategy for Transformation. Our goal is to equip young entrepreneurs with the skills and tools they need to enhance profitability, create jobs, and improve operational effectiveness.
Program Details:
- Timeline: December 2024 – December 2025
- Format: Blended learning (in-person and hybrid)
- Structure: The program consists of four distinct cycles, each beginning with an intensive 3-day training session. Participants will set quarterly goals and receive ongoing support to track progress and implement learnings.

The VE Foundation invites all stakeholders—government agencies, private sector partners, civil society organizations, and community leaders—to join in this collective effort to empower Rwanda’s youth.
